| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 22, 2009 Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. Delicious, fruity hop aroma. Mildly sweet malt and fruity hop flavor. Bitter finish. A great example of a medium-bodied, well balanced but nonetheless hop-heavy IPA. dkachur (2421), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Pours a clear copper color with a small head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is citrus hops with brown sugary malts. Very strong citrus hops in the taste with some sugary notes. Reminds me a lot of Lemonheads candy. Medium bodied. majorchaz (12), , Virginia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 14, 2009 On tap at the Paso Robles inn in Paso Robles, CA. Very nice IPA. Poured a nice red color with a thin white head. Aroma was citrus and grapefruit hops all the way. This was a big hoppy beer and wasn’t hiding that at all. Flavor was more citrus hops with a touch of malt. Jut a tad unbalanced and a little bit harsh on the backend. Nice beer overall though. beerguy101 (3954), Newark, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Sampled on 11/11/08. This IPA pours a medium amber color from a 12oz bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head with decent lacing. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet, with some floral hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet, with some tropical flavors. The hops are floral and citrusy. Decent balance. Kind of a in between IPA. It’s not realy malty and sweet yet its also not really bitter. So I can’t tell if it’s a English IPA or a West Coast IPA. It closer to being neither. Very drinkable, but a little thin. There is some lasting bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter scrizzz (1325), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 28, 2008 Sunny golden honeysuckle aroma, blackberry and cinnamon too. Lighter clear amber, thin head but the lacing really stuck to the sides. Mellow kick to the hops, but I’ve had this bottle for a few months. Doughy finish as the hops fall off quickly mid palate, though they do seem to linger in flavor and sans bitterness. Looks like I have an excuse to have another bottle. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2008 12 oz bottle. nice copper, moderate head life. Maybe this is a bad batch, but it was a bready ipa; nice change from floral citrus west coast varieties. But, all other reviews differ. perhaps my taste buds are off because I’m sick.
