Commercial Description:
Our IPA is created from a base of Pale and Crystal malts and is aggressively hopped throughout the brewing process with a final hop addition in the conditioning vessel. A beautiful flowery hop aroma will greet you as you dive into this hop lover’s dream. A middle caramel malt presence balances high hop bitterness with hop flavor end to end... learn to love hops! (Editor’s Note: originally brewed by Humboldt Brewing Company under the name "Humboldt IPA Nectar" until their acquisition by Firestone Walker.)

An orange beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy, from a good hop sort (or combination), but also with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of grass and flowers, leading to a good bitter hoppy end, but the body is a little thin.

On tap. Clear warm amber golden with a small off-white head. Fresh, citrusy nose. Medium body, lightly sweet caramel notes, some fruit - peach in particular from the hops, that also leave a dry, hoppy finish. 090709

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, warm, amber golden with a white head leaving a neat lacework. Fat aroma of caramel and aroma hops. Medium body, some lightly sweet caramel malt and then this great, citrusy hopping - more dry than bitter. Very compact flavours considering the low alcohol. 290307

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm (6.7%). Copper colour, small head. Perfumy and grapefruity with caramel underneath. Rounded solid body with some syrup and soap. Hop driven, but more aromatic than bitter.

Bottled, labelled IPA Nectar. Clear dark amber, no head. Aroma of lychee and pine needles. Dry and medium bodied with clean, hard mouthfeel. Some cookie malt flavour - but most of the flavour is in th ehoppy aroma. The finish is grapefruity, resiny and really bitter. A school book example of American style IPA: Technical perfection, but where’s the soul?

(12oz bottle) Crystal clear amber body topped by a medium off-white head that does not last long. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, floral, bread/caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some caramel/cookie, faint pineapple. Medium body, some resin. Tastes ok, but seems to be missing something.

Poured a hazy, medium orange with a smaller off-white head. Light malty smell with stronger smells of oranges and flowers. Starts lightly sweet with a nice bitter finish. Malty tastes (breads) and citris hops. Well balanced. Dry finish. Very good beer.
