Commercial Description:
Our IPA is created from a base of Pale and Crystal malts and is aggressively hopped throughout the brewing process with a final hop addition in the conditioning vessel. A beautiful flowery hop aroma will greet you as you dive into this hop lover’s dream. A middle caramel malt presence balances high hop bitterness with hop flavor end to end... learn to love hops! (Editor’s Note: originally brewed by Humboldt Brewing Company under the name "Humboldt IPA Nectar" until their acquisition by Firestone Walker.)

A fine and distinctive example of this style. Very crisp, very fresh floral, citrusy presentation, followed on the back end by honeyey sweetness, full body, soft and smooth finish. The balance of bitter and sweet in this is top-notch.

Truly a classic IPA. Found to be just as delightful as Russian Rivers Pliny the Younger but easier to get. Beautiful label as with taste is even appealing to the ladies. Tap Handle kicks butt as well.

The best overall Ipa I have ever had. The taste is perfectly balanced with hops, spice and a sweetness that makes this Ipa like heaven to drink. I wish that nectar brewing was still up in Arcata , but this beer has stood the test of time to be one of the best tasting Ipa’s ever.

This has a big piney aroma.....love that. Pours a bright orange with an off white head. Lacing is plentiful. There’s not much to dislike about this IPA. Caramelly, fruity front end with a balanced, hoppy finish. Very good for the style.

In my opinion simply the best IPA around. Grapefruit is the most obvious flavor though does not begin to describe the complexities of this beer. Apples, pears, oranges, etc. sweet nectar without being cloying. Nice soapy head shows some birdseye bubbly. All this while being a great session brew.

12 oz bottle via Liquid Solutions. Pours a clear amber with a small head. Nose is mostly orange and caramel. Taste is the same, with a somewhat hot acidic finish. Bittersweet honey/english hop aftertaste makes you long for the next drink. Medium body, lightly carbonated. ...a very good...no- a GREAT brew.

This one was a nice surprise. Pours dark golden/light coppery with a big white head and nice lacing. Aroma of huge hops, fruit, florals, citrus, and honey. Tastes slightly dry, with a nice fruit, hop, citrus, honey, and chardonnay finish. Great smooth finish.

Typically over-hopped, but tasty IPA. Didn't go great with the Doritos I had but would be excellent with a good bread or crackers. Very bitter with an orange color.
