Aroma has a strong citrus hop character with a slightly sweet carmel malt note. Taste has the perfect bitterness for a pale ale and a great hoppy finish that is good and dry. Overall a great American Pale that should definitely be on the top 25 list. STEPHENDR (478), California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Pours light amber with a large-bubbled white head. Very floral and woody nose, with a hint of the same honey hop aroma found in the IPA Nectar. Citrus and pepper are in there, as well. The flavor is more floral than that of any other beer I’ve had. The middle is kind of bland, but still good; it almost tastes like a very well-made lager until the hops come back in the end, bitter and piney. I like it. sloth (1684), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA

Flowery hop nose, light citrus and spruce. Body is light/medium with good carbonation. Light juicey hop flavors, a touch tropical with notes of melon and pineapple all backed by some light bready malts. Finish is crisp and fruity. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2006 Tap: orange body, fairly nice hoppy aroma. Grapefruit, pine and citrus. Fairly standard APA IMO. I liked the hop aroma more than the rest. Still not bad, but not a favorite. can8ianben (913), Pasadena, California, USA
