Growler from FW. Murky orange with a short-lived white head. Lots of banana and lemony wheat up front with light spicy clove behind. The labor, however, is kinda bland. There isn’t much banana, and the lemon is faint as well. The clove is almost non-existant. There is also a hint of plastic. Lightly sweet finish with minimal bitterness. Medium body heavied by the light prickly carbonation. Decent hefe at best.

Draft @ Toronado. Pours a murky, orangish / pulpy grapefruit color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Good amounts of bubble gum, esters, and very light white pepper in the aroma; solid hefe note. Medium mouthfeel: chewy bubble gum, Belgian esters, honey and light pepper notes; nicely complex; pleasant hefeweizen. Medium finish: pepper, toasty notes; nicely dry.

Draft at the brewery tasting room. Nose is lots of banana with wheaty yeasty flavors tossed in. Cloudy yellow orange with a big, glass lacing yellowish white head. Flavor is all banana with a faint bitterness.

A pleasant wheat beer. Cloudy, spicy, sweet, banana, cloves. It is really well done - not overly impressive, but good none the less.

Tap at Sacramento Brewing. Cloudy, golden color, with an off white head that dissipates quickly. Yeast and wheat in the nose. Dry wheat with heavy fruit and bread. Very good.

On tap at Blue Palms. Pours with a white head that leaves nice lace over a murky orange body. Aroma is grainy, with orange and caramel notes. Taste is citrus clove and vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel, and bubbles.

On tap at the brewpub. I got a special preview of all of the ales from one of the owners. Pours a murky, cloudy translucent yellow with a whispy, cloudy white head. Pleasant aroma has plenty of grass, clove, other spice, bubble gum, lemon zest. Flavor is nice, grassy, peppery, a little floral. Finish is chalky, a little dry. Nice example of a Hef, good summer beer, one that can appeal to many drinkers.
