Oct 6, 2009 Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). A bit hazy amber colour with mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is strong butterscotch/diacetyl along with some malts and mild spices. Flavour is diacetyl, some caramel malts along with some grassy and floral hoppy notes. Also some herbs and mild sour fruity notes. One of the strongest diacetyl beers I’ve had from Germany.

Sep 11, 2009 50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is toffee diacetyl with a light cardboardish note. Diacetyl flavoured, distinct caramelish and mild roasted note. Vague bitter and slight metallic finish.

Sep 11, 2009 Clear golden with a large white head. Sweet malty aroma with butter, diacetyl and caramel. Flavour was sweet and had diacetyl, caramel, butter and grassy hops. Finished bitter.

Aug 9, 2009 (500ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours a clear pale yellow with good lacing. Nose is cracker jack, buttery. Taste is nicely sweet and balanced. Taste is buttery as well. First in this style, and I’m on the fence about it.
