On tap at a local bar. This stuff sucks. It’s my first cider besides Woodchuck, so maybe I haven’t developed a palate. This just tasted watery and sweet, like sugar water, without any real characteristics. It looked like club soda – no color, no head, huge carbonation bubbles.

Had this at the Lord Nelson bar, Kobenhaven 14-09-08 Light almost perry looking in colour, in fact a bit lemony reasonable carity. Not as dry as one would have expected but this really was quite nice and far, far better than the Respect Your Elders cider also tried and made by this pub

Cask@Lord Nelson, København. Pale milky yellow. No head. Clean aroma from sweet ripe apples. A barely noticable vinegar note. Pure natural apple flavor, sweetish, acidulous with a light tartness and som wodden notes towards the end. Soft carbonation. Alcohol very well masked. Likable.

Hazy pale straw golden body, big small bubbled white head; Not to big but very ripe apple aroma with lots of new oak barrels as well; Served to warm, flat body, tataric and tannic acids the late from the barrels; Only oak aromas in finish, like a cheap new world chardonnay, a little brett dryness.

Cask gravity @ [ Lord Nelson, Copenhagen 1207, Denmark ].
Unclear yellow color with a virtually none head. Aroma is apple, vinegar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and sour with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (130608)

(Draught from the barrel, Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 26 July 2008) Greenish yellow colour with no head. Fruity, sour, vinous nose with green apples, wood, vinegar and paint remover. Fruity, acidic taste with notes of green unripe apples, citrus and a hint of vinegar. Dry, tart finish. Rather full body, very vinous. Interesting, but not really my kind of cider.
