Cask at East Cliff Tavern, Folkestone Don’t normally like/go for Nelson beers but this was the only beer on, so I had no choice. Surprised me by being quite drinkable. Chestnut brown, malty nose, malty/yeasty in mouth with hoppy finish slightly acidic and some malt fruit

Cask Conditioned at The Hobgoblin, Oxford. Orange gold colour with bubbly head. Brighlty conditioned malty beer, dry fruity but with little hop balance. Some earthy fungal notes mask the more gentle flavours.

Bright bottled, from the Thurrock Beer Festival.
From the dodgy brewer from downs SilkT’s way, this beer is much improved from the last sample. Crimson, solar orange colour. Floral, musk aroma, that is pleasant. Malty flavour, with musk and vanilla undertones. Strong bitter finish which rounds the beer out giving it character and integrity.

Frog & Toad, Gillingham. Amber coloured session bitter with light bubbly head. Dryish with nice balance of fruit and hops. Pale malt aroma and flavour. A traditional bitter with a slight toffee flavour. [2.6]
Gravity, Rochester Beer Festival. Plastic glass. Warm room. Light and fruity best bitter. Slightly sweet with low hop awareness. A simple thirst quencher.
