Deep orangey-gold with very good, stable white head, rather fluffy at start. Flowery nose, with the telltale ’intracable’ white candi sugar, garden herbs and oranges. Van Steenberge to the core. More bitter taste, again garden herbs and weeds, quite refreshing despite the serious alcoholload. The high attenuation again points to the white candi sugar. Relatively little sweetness. Some human sweat, retronasal. Sharp, slightly burning MF, alcoholwarming; medium body. I might not be the greatest fan of V.S., the clean taste of this, ought to be assessed by all US "Belgian" cloners. As to the beer... ik veronderstel dat het weer een gegarandeerd origineel bier is, Gerten?

Medium body. Taste malts, fruits, sweetness,hops, spice, bit bitterness at the end.
Good.

Nov 12, 2007 Blond to light amber coloured beer with a lot of carbonation and a large white head. Malty and fruity aroma. Full palate, with some sprankling. Finish is full malty, slightly alcoholic. Nice.

Feb 13, 2006 Hazy golden colour with a white head. Sweet and a little yeasty aroma. Hints of spices. Sweet malty flavor with some hints of honey. Dry and a little spicy finish.
