Cask conditioned handpump Wootton WMC. A golden beer with an off-white coloured head and lacing. A sweet beer with strawberry notes throughout. Softer berry sweetness in the mouth. Drinkable and pleasant enough although the sweetness makes for it to lack sessionability.

Cask at The Maypole, Cambridge (20-Aug-09). Red-amber with a short head. Sweet citrus scent, quite perfumed. Well balanced. Earthy with oranges and a light hop. Spoilt by a hint of metal.

Cask at the Castle, as Redcar Best Bitter. Amber with a thin white head; striaghtforward aroma of malt and hops; rich fruity malt flavours with some earthy caramel; a gentle bitterness to finish. Everything you could expect from a pint of bitter.
