| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 24, 2009 From the 1 pt. 09. fl. oz. bottle marked L-185-03. The pour is a cloudy amber with an extremely puffy, foamy cream-beige head...a good three inches thick. That may be because I drank it after taking it out of my car after a 25 mile drive. The aroma is not very appealing. My first impression was along the lines of paint thinner(!) but also something along the lines of hard liquor like bourbon. The mouthfeel is better than medium. The taste is full of cloves and other spices, citrus, and a reasonable hopped sensation. But it is not the usual Belgian style ale that I am used to. Maybe I should have let it sit for a few more months. Cavie (1489), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 9, 2009 Bottle courtesy of Fratto. Clouded orange pour with small black suspended sediment. Took several minutes to pour because the head just would not stop! Smells of day old orange peel and some spice. Taste is smooth at first that gradually gets sticky. Flavors of fruit and tropical citrus. Some spice on the finish. Fratto (751), Arlington, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Bottle from Majestic on Eastchase. Pours like a rotten cider, brown and muddy. Smells delicious like fruit, cinnamon, and candy. Peppery taste with more cinnamon. Just a little hops. Tasty finish with a slight dryness. PilsnerPeter (2629), Flushing, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 20, 2009 Bottle: Slightly hazy orange with a huge off white head. Citric lemony aroma- seems infected with a light acidity and lemon sorbet qualities. Fizzy prickly carbonation- evidently infected and over carbonated. Flavors of lemon sorbet, lean candied malt undertones, citric lemon middle, followed by an herbal character, fruit roll up like esters, and a minerally mildly bitter finish. Definitely infected, but would probably be decent if it were bottled in proper conditions. ben4321 (1041), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma: Yeasty, coriander, citrus, and some other difficult to place spices
Appearance: Hazy brownish orange color, big & frothy beige head, decent lacing
Flavor: An odd bitterness, weird gingery tang, a bit off, not exactly great
Palate: A bit watery, not great
Overall Impression:
Honestly, I was expecting it to be better from the nose, a bit of a lemon cleaner smell to it, but other then that a decent nose. The taste? Not so much... It’s drinkable I guess, but I won’t be going out of my way to have it again. Hopper (327), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Pours unclear golden-orange with a massive head, I thought the head was going to keep growing & flood my house. Taste is real spicy with the coriander, too much of it. In fact you lose some beer taste with all of it. This beers only quality is it looks like a frothy beer like in cartoons.
