The name of this beer is an allegedly amusing pun. Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small off white head. Faint wet dog aroma. First taste seems watery, but it’s one of those beers with hidden depths, and you gradually perceive sour ripe apple and malt. Definitely an improver. Medium bitter finish.
