Dec 17, 2009 A Mes rate. Cask at Baker St ’Sporks.
Clean orange gold with a thin off white head and lace. Strange and unexpected chocolate and ginger notes in the aroma. Wholemeal and grainy flavour. Pretty awful to be honest. Once the bread has settled down the are some faintcitric notes in the finish but it’s not enough to save it. ARSE!

Mar 21, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A light amber coloured beer with an off white head. The aroma is malty and there are hay notes. The taste has a hint of fruit but is very plain and a bit dull to be truthful.

Mar 21, 2008 Another in Nethergates series of rather unfunny ’Azza-’ titles. Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Quite a gentle almondy malt aroma. The taste, which is quite lively, comes as a surprise, with malt and some fruit sourness, followed by a brisk hoppiness. This beer had quite a lot going for it, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I would have thought. Perhaps it was the stupid name.
