maeib (3949), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Mar 21, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A light amber coloured beer with an off white head. The aroma is malty and there are hay notes. The taste has a hint of fruit but is very plain and a bit dull to be truthful. hughie (2194), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Mar 21, 2008 Another in Nethergates series of rather unfunny ’Azza-’ titles. Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Quite a gentle almondy malt aroma. The taste, which is quite lively, comes as a surprise, with malt and some fruit sourness, followed by a brisk hoppiness. This beer had quite a lot going for it, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I would have thought. Perhaps it was the stupid name.
