Cask @Pub Höyry
Dark copper brown, firm tan head. Molasses, fruits (dried plums) and a bit of fruity hops in the nose. Dried plums and apricot in the flavor. Good malty base, non-aggressive hops. Some earthy notes. Different. After sampling this and Old Growler I could guess that Nethergate has its own unique touch in the brewing.

Handpull cask at Humphrey Bean JDW Tonbridge, Kent. Dark brown bitter with goodish malt and hops but there was an underlying taste that I did not like

Cask Conditioned, @ JDW, Holborn, London.
Malty beer with some sweetness and a hint of oaky sourness (borrowed from Silk)

Cask at Babington Arms, Derby. Dark chestnut body, big sweet malty nose, strong fruity malts at the start, cutting hop finish, sweetness lingers, gives it a roller-coaster balance.

Musty, light nose; deep copper amber color; lathery head. Sweet toasted malt body with a light dainty hop bitter tinge at the end. Flat with a creamy mouthfeel. Goess down quick. Good British ale.
