Commercial Description:
Cask & Bottle conditioned, Regular;<br /> A new golden beer from Nethergate, drinking more like a best bitter than its strength suggests. The fruity and spicy overtones are noticeable from the start on the nose and palate, whilst at the end the the sweet, soft orange notes return, resulting in a complete, well-rounded finish.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
A gorgeous golden blonde colour with an impressive white head and possibly the best conditioned beer of the festival. Fruity hoppage with lots of peach, a lovely note of liquorice and a pleasing dry, bitter finish. Lovely stuff.

Cask conditioned at Codshall Station, Codshall, Staffs. Orange gold with white head. Pretty straightforward golden Ale, slight buttery notes and a touch oily in the body, light restrained malts but not much hop action for me, all a little sweetish and light. It’s ok and drinkable without getting stuck in. Reasonable.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.8%. Golden colour with a slight chill haze, big white head. Moderate fruity hops in the somewhat sweetish aroma. The flavour is reasonably hoppy with some fruity notes, a moderate sweetness and a bitter and dry finish and aftertaste.
