Overall, I was actually suprised by the flavor and palate of the brew. The beer was a very good afternoon starting beer for a long summer vacation in the Outer Banks of NC!

It’s hazy golden with a creamy white head. The aroma has notes of malt, clover flower, grain, straw and light butterscotch. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of butterscotch, malt, clover, straw and the finish is nice and dry with a light bitterness. It’s pleasantly smooth and yet very refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a medium-sized white head. Sweet aroma, malty. Similar flavor, maybe grassy. A little bit of a tingling to the front. Light to medium bodied.

Green bottle: Skunked hay aroma. Clear yellow, thick white head, some lacing. Malty hay flavor. Sweet grass finish. Fairly typical Euro-lager. It was a nice way to clean up after the barleywine I just had.

(bottle - 330 ml) Slightly hazy gold color with a puffy white head. Aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy with some grassy notes. Flavor is sweet and grassy at the start with a dry and bitter middle. Finishes with a lingering and very dry bitter flavor.

Unclear golden with white head that goes away fast, almost no carbonation - starts with malty taste that goes into bitter hop finish - ok and drinkable
