beerlady (249), lucerne, Switzerland Aug 6, 2008 yellow color white head
much hops in nose and taste and aftertaste but some maltyness too
more hoppy than the other glutenfree ones i tasted but have a bit harsh bitterness at the end of palate
not so a artificial sweetness that you find for example in the the glutaner (name of an other glutenfree beer)
gunnfryd (2839), Kristiansand, Norway Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, grass. Flavour is fruit, malt, hay, grass. Medium body. Boring beer. yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 19, 2008 Bottle. It has a clear, quite pale, golden body and a small white head. Nice lacings heighten the appearance. It has a quite anonymous aroma, pale malt and nice fruity, slightly grassy and piney hops. Full-bodied and quite effervescent in the mouth, with emphasis on the fruity flavors, generic fruityness that is, with piney hops giving some bitterness, and there’s also malty sweetness. Medium lenght finish with moderate bitterness. Good drinkability. Everything beery containing the word free in some language seems to be missing quite a bit, but this one isn’t bad at all. Easy to drink, well-tasting and refreshing, but off course, far from being a big beer. (081019) KnutAlbert (2466), Oslo, Norway Sep 22, 2008 Bottle. Light malty body, crisp hops. A little metallic finish. I found this too thin and light, gluten does make a difference. Gr0ve (1123), Oslo, Norway Sep 20, 2008 330 ml bottle. Golden colour. Crystal clear. Medium-sized white head. Incredible floral hop aroma. Very refreshng. Light malty flavours. Light-bodied. Crisp hop bitterness, which works nicely. The aromas fade after a while, but initially the sensation is wonderful. Could have used a little more flavour, but I’m not complaining. A great pilsener. OleR (1380), Oslo, Norway Sep 20, 2008 330 ml bottle. Vanishing white head. Brilliant yellow-golden color. A strange scent of plastic and mouldy old books at first, then a more reliable smell of bready malts, hayish and light fruity hops. Taste is light sweet, light bitter and has a note of acidulous fruits.
Light to medium body. Crisp with a sourish accent. A decent one, could probably be better with some gluten.
