Neuzeller Anti Aging Bier

Bottle at Die kleine Bierstube. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Very dak almost black ruby colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Strange fruity notes. Moderate bitter roasted and herbal flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are burnt caramel, herbs, roast malt and fruits.

50cl bottle. Black, lightly tanned tightly laced head. Artificial nose, hints of Korpisavu smoke, sweetish liquorice-toffee, all very mild. Flavor shows the mineral salts and sea weed along with ash, little burned malts, acidic notes. Coarse, strongly carbonated palate. I like spirulina in my smoothies, but it’s definitely a no-no in beer. I really can’t believe anyone drinking this regularly to get the supposed health benefits.

Pitch black colour with small off-beige head.Aroma is sweet rosted with note of bread and malt,slight acid flavor.I guess this beer is better for bathing then for drinking.

Sampled at GBF09 Dark brown with a medium, off-white head. Slightly smoked aroma. No bitterness. Dry mouthfeel. A mix between youghurt and ashes.

Dark brown to black color, light brown head. Acidic, strawberry yougurt scent. Yougurt, strawberry, lactic taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

09/04 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured dark brown body with smaller brownish head. A bit of carrot and caramel in aroma. Flavor is light, some caramel&carrot again, nothing bad but unimpressive. Finish shows some hints of metallicity added to already mentioned flavors. Although strange and different, it’s too watery and simple to be interesting.

Bottled(500ml). -Dark brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, vinous malty nose. Sweet malty, weak hoppy and molasses taste with notes of carrot and spices. Oily. Funny name but also below average beer.
