Commercial Description:
from http://www.anti-aging-beer.com : We developed our Bathbeer years ago. It's a beer used for drinking and also as a tonic for bathing, and is available not only in Germany, but also in the United States, Poland and of course South Korea. To take the concept one step further, we have now formulated an "anti-aging" beer. Having consulted with several universities and health institutes, our beer contains: Water from hotsprings, rich in minerals, flavonoids, beer (malt, water, hop, yeast), spirulina (Algae)

[Sampled in 2005.] Beautiful darkcreamy look in an almost black atmosphere. Notes of some smoke, typical schwarzbierflavor, fruit, caramel and wateryness. An okay beer!

Bottle @ YNWA. Pours a very deep red with a fine creamy off white head. Aroma has fruit, weak berries and roasted malts. Watery palate. Quite sweet and rather dull flavours of smoky and roasted malts as a well as a butt-load of Belgian sugars. Far too sweet flavour really lets down a nice look.

Bottle. Midium high creamy, quickly disappearing off-white head. Clear very dark red, almost black, body. Strange mix of berries, caramel and hops in the aroma. First impression of flavor: Sour dry malt. Second thought: Pleasant smooth and non-offfending (read: boring). Still 4.8% pretty impressive. Low carbonation. Long berries aftertaste.

Weird stuff is this. I don’t feelk like aging this beer, so the warning is a bit over the top. :-) Aroma, of roasted chocolate and caramel malts. Even a tiny smokey tone. Very dark ruby coloured with a lasting, thin, off-white/brown head. Taste is sweet, chocolate malty, some spice/vegetable accent. Cola taste in it. Sticky. Not my thing.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, very dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma of hard roasted malt. Medium-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt and some odd, lightly tart notes of Vitamin-C or something like that - fruitish. A lightly burned edge. Very subdued bitterness. 070706

I feel so much younger, but rather than r5efreshed and alive, I feel I’ve recaptured the stupidity I thought I might have left behind. My old boss gave this to me and I had it tucked away in the fridge for months thinking it was a non-alcoholic beer until seeing the 4.8%. Tastes too much like a malt, malto, or whatever those malt based drinks aer w/ no alcohol. I didn’t spit it out nor pour it out, but really didn’t enjoy that grainy malt and non-descript hop, just can’t get past the taste taste. I wouund up drinking about six ounces which seemd far too much before mixing another beer into it. If this is the beer for you, may we never go pub crawling together ....
