Commercial Description:
from http://www.anti-aging-beer.com : We developed our Bathbeer years ago. It's a beer used for drinking and also as a tonic for bathing, and is available not only in Germany, but also in the United States, Poland and of course South Korea. To take the concept one step further, we have now formulated an "anti-aging" beer. Having consulted with several universities and health institutes, our beer contains: Water from hotsprings, rich in minerals, flavonoids, beer (malt, water, hop, yeast), spirulina (Algae)

An opaque brown beer with a disappearing light brown head. The aroma is spicy with notes of soya, dates, and caramel. The flavor is somewhat like a Danish Hvidtøl: licorice and slightly burnt malt. The mouthfeel is smooth while the body is thin just like a Hvidtøl. But I haven’t felt my aging process slow down after drinking this beer - so I beleive it promises too much.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, very dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma of hard roasted malt. Medium-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt and some odd, lightly tart notes of Vitamin-C or something like that - fruitish. A lightly burned edge. Very subdued bitterness. 070706

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a golden red glare and a creamy tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma - slight towards breadish. Flavour is breadish, mild roasted and with a dry raising like flavour. Medium dry. Mild bitterness and light spiced into the finish. A bit flat in flavour.

Bottle. Nice, malty aroma. Fresh-ground coffee. Very dark brown colour, soy-like. No head. Nice flavour, a lot like the aroma, malty and coffeeish.

Black with a large beige head. Quite sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, liquerice and coffee notes. very sweet flavour with hard burned malt, liquerice and coffee. Finished sweet. Reminded me of a danish hvidtøl.

Well, since I have turned 50 and then some and like beer, it is natural to try to combine interests! So I opened an Anti Aging beer, hoping for miracles.... The head disappears very quickly on this almost black schwartzbier. The aroma is malty in a "hvidtøl" kind of way and it has notes of berries. The mouth feeling is rather smooth and the flavour has notes of berries (raspberry among others), a bit of licorice and some other notes, that is hard to pinpoint. But I do know the aroma of spirulina, and I think I can recognize it in the taste. It’s a mild and delicious beer with an sufficient bitter finish - and I guess it takes more than one to get results in the anti-aging front....
