The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and alcohol, while the flavor is sweet malty with some notes of metal - my guess is that it is from the alcohol. A boring Bock. And yet, with it’s beautiful slightly hazy amber color, I guess it’s somewhere between a dark "Doppelbock" and a pale "Bock". The head is tall and hard to control. Pale bocks are sometimes very alcoholic in the flavor, bordering on unpleasant. But definitely not this one. Very harmonious beer, where the fullness doesn’t turn to extreme sweetness or alcohol. A fresh flavor of grains and fruit. Definitely a good one. 091203 yespr (12246), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 19, 2009 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lasting, off-white and creay head. Grassy and roasted malt aroma. Flavour is mainly grassy hoppy than roasted malt driven. Light metallic touch and a distinct bitterness leading into a dry and mild sweet malt flavoured finish. omhper (12244), Stockholm, Sweden

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 12, 2009 It is warm golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower and caramel, but it is mild, almost weak. The flavour is sweet with notes of malt, flower and light caramel. Sadly the overall impression is too sweet and too weak/thin.
