Hazy orange/gold color with a modest head and a fruity, malty almost vinous aroma. Medium to full bodied, bready with an assertive caramely flavor and a little underlying bitterness, but mostly just malty all over the place with a honeylike sweetness. For sure not your average pale lager, this unusual and tasty brew really did come across like some quaint and old timey recipe. Well worth trying.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of off-white colored fine to large sized very long lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was a carbonated semi-hazy yet transparent light copper brown colored body. The aroma contained wheaty yeasty musty notes, The palate was vinuous with malt hop notes and a tingly feeling at the start that smoothened in the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild clove cinnamon malts and hops. The overall taste was quite different from the norm yet nice on its own merits.

Bottle. Poured a medium sized off-white head with fine-medium sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. This beer had slow rising carbonation, semi-transparent with a yellow-orange hue. The aroma was malty and sweet with a malty flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and the lacing was very sparse.

Light gold with sweet fruit and malt aromas. First taste is honey-dipped malts, followed by an orange-like fruitiness. Tastes like more of a dessert wine than what you would expect for a lager. Thick and malty sweet. Good stuff. Very faint bitter finish.

Bottle pours a nice golden color with very little head and lace. The aroma is bread like. The flavor is sweet, malt, and like fresh bread. The palate is thick, almost Bock or Dopplebock like. Overall, this one is rather peculiar. In one way, this seems much more rich than a Lager, but in other ways it seems like it has too much body for the flavor profile. I'm not sure I like it.

Pours a yellow orange with a slight lasting white head. This beer is a school in malt, all wrapped up in one glass (or bottle). Huge malty/bready aroma. Big malty smooth bread flavor. Lingers. I don't think there are any hops in this that I can talk about, so hopheads beware and avoid. I love the malt character of this brew and wish I could use this as a base for an IPA for it would win every homebrew competition in the world.
