Deep red, thin pink white head and gentle condition. Low fruity artificial berry aroma, soft and sweet in the mouth with cherry syrup dominating the low maltiness. Low bitter cherry skin in the finish. Tastes just like what it is, a beer with some cherry syrup dumped in it.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 31, 2005 Bottled: Amber coloured with distinctive red notes, hazy, reddish head; fruity nose with some traces of alcohol; sweet and fruity beginning, cherry flavour with a tinge of malt; short drier aftertaste, nearly no hints of bitterness, traces of elderberries; not really bad, but a bit too sweet and too uni-dimensional, lacks complexity..... | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 23, 2005 (bottle) Dark red colour with almost no head but a tiny little reddish layer. Malty aroma with a fruitiness of sour cherries, not as strong as expected, which surprised me a bit. Sweet flavour and a taste of cherries and elderberries well complemented with malts, but also with a clumsy sweet and hoppy finish. All in all drinkable and worth a try. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 2, 2004 Dark violet/red colour. No head, a few big bubbles on top, maybe. Sour cherry aroma. Sweet, cherry and elderberry taste. Some slight maltiness in the background. Slightly hoppy finish. I didn´t found the aroma and taste to be artifical cherry, maybe if one doesn´t know morello cherries that may occur that way to him. Still, it´s not what I hoped it would be, namely something akin to kriek. Still drinkable and I´m glad that there is at least one brewery in Germany that tries to be innovative, regardless of Reinheitsgebot. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

DK and was not impressed, I know that they mix Cola and beer in Germany and many other things, but this is real bad. Red color and a light sour dry aroma and artificial taste, to sweet and light bodyed. Atleast I got it for free. jfm (1695), Holbćk, Denmark
