It is dark brown with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, rye bread and caramel. The flavour has sweetness and notes of syrup, rye bread and caramel. It is one of the best Malz beers I have had.

(Bottle 50 cl) Usually German maltbeers contain no alcohol, but this one has a bit. Dark, almost black beer with a red tone. Brown, creamy head. Quite distinct smoky malt and also a lot of sweetness. 260903

Dark brown, nearly black with hints of red - no head, no carbonation, roasted malt sugar syrup taste. Light roasted cofee, nice malt beer.

Sweet toasted malt aromas, dark brown color, low frothy head. Roaste malt in the body with a sweet syrupy end. Quite think and heavy. Reminded me of a good Danish malt beer. Didn’t expect this from this brewer.

Surprising burned/smoked aromas. Dark brown, low head. Taking the other mega sweet dark beers from this brewery into acount I expected this to be pure sugarwater. It is sweet, but not much more than other Malzbier. Burned, chocolaty flavors, quite nice actually. Light to medium body, slightly sticky mouthfeel. A really nice Malzbier.
