Bottle, off-license in Berlin, Germany &#40;Getting tired of typing that but at around 70 euro cents a bottle for beer I drank as many as I could. Berlin, aside from being in itself the most beautiful city in the world, it was by far the cheapest for beer. Bottoms up!!!&#41;<br /> Like the British brewers with their Bitters, I liked Germany for trying to pick up the subtle nuances defining each Pilsener from another, as there are literally thousands . This was a nice drop, as with all I tasted from this brewer. It poured a summery, tawny gold, bright, sparkling, with an abundance of fine streaming bubbles. Head rose, rocky and snow-white, held and legged drabby lace down the glass. Aroma was like summer grains at time of harvest, to tie in with the appearance. Nice spicy edge to this with just a touch of honey and fresh mowed grass. In the mouth it is light, spritzy and tending towards the sweeter side. Licks of honey and orange peel upfront. Mid-palate has some dusty malts, well defined and on the swallow comes the hops. There is just a little peppery spice here, it is slightly herbal in flavour and drops of with very little bitterness to show some fading grainy malts and balanced hops. Very refreshing, light quaffer I can’t fault. In fact I quite liked the way it worked as with this brewers Black Abbot. Quite nice. &#40;50cL, 04/03/07&#41;

Bottled as Neuzeller Pilsner. Golden coloured. Light grainy aroma with dusty notes. Sweet grainy flavour. Not much hops. Bland.

Bottle, Delerium Café, Brussel, March 2005. Gold, thin white head and gentle condition. Low fruity grain in the nose, quite sweet in the mouth with a tendancy towards starchiness, lingering sweetness in the finish.

An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is malty with hints of butter - and so is the flavor, with a slightly hoppy end.
