| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2004 500 ml bottle. Golden colour, low head. Interesting malty aroma with hints of hayloft and sheepshed - very nice. An unusual pils! Flavour is distinctly malty with just enough hoppiness to call it a pils. Good beer! joss (3690), Garching b. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 6, 2003 Updated: Jan 20, 2004Very spicy aroma, hop and straw - quite unusual.
Golden, fine carbonation, ok head.
Salt and spices (a bit currylike in the start, later vanilla)prevail in the taste. A light napkin aroma when exhaling. Fruity, full middle.
I have never tasted a pilsner quite like this and I do not know what to make of it - it is....interesting.
