Nutty, rich savory aroma. The flavor is very lightly sweet with more notes of roasted nuts and the mouthfeel is medium heavy. Quite nice.

A very mysterious bottle from a local shop. Pours a dark brown. Aromas of roasted malt, rye, and some schnapps-like spice. Very clean and balanced flavor with toasted malt, dates, and a hint of milk chocolate. Clean and refreshing. I can not attest to its value as bath salts but it is a tasty drink.

16.9 oz. bottle. Dark, almost black, clear ruby pour under a small off white head. Roasted nuts and some chocolate highlight the malty aroma. Smooth, medium body that has a light richness in the palate. Burnt sugar flavor extends well into the finish, and the gentlest of bitterness provides the needed balance. Much better as it warms to nearly room temperature. Smooth, drinkable, malty, a nice example of the style.
