Dark witha tan head. Deep fruity/berry aroma with light roasted malts and a touch of sour. Molasses, roasted malts, chocolate, and a sour finish. A little thin, though. Good porter, not amazing though.

Black with a dense brown head. Sweet café latte-like aroma, like chezch dark lagers. Malty and burned notes plus some chocolate. Unfurtunately it has an acid feeling towards the finish. Nevertheless, it is very nice.

Black, almost no head. Low carbonation. Very sweet - caramel, malt. I want to hate this but I actually enjoy it for a change. There is enough deep flavour to make up for the lack of bitterness.

courtesy of Laurent Mouson - dark and clear, almost black with a little foam; toasted, notes of black chocolate and licorice; good malt body, some sweetness and a decent bitterness; long aftertaste of dried raisin - very good!

500 ml bottle, via alldaydrinker. Pours a clear dark brown body with a minimal wispy beige head that ran to the edges of the glass quickly. The nose is heavy roast, coffee, licorice, and a little alcohol. The flavor is roasty and chocolaty up front with some dark fruit and a moderate risidual sweetness. A minimal amount of alcohol and huskiness. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and oily in texture with nice minimal soft carbonation. Very mouthcoating on the finish. Overall, pretty good, but not among my favorite Baltics.

Black/brown with a weak head. The aroma has notes of coffee and roasted malt. The mouthfeel is quit full, but rather flat. The flavour is strong and nice, and very stout-like. It has notes of coffee and bitter chocolate and a limited sweetness. Atypical for at scwartzbier - but I really like it, the best of it’s kind until now.

I really liked this porter. It starts sweet and finishes sweet with almost no hop profile. Not very complex, but full flavored, good tasting, and easily drinkable. Low carbonation.

Black in colour with low carbonation and almost no head??? Aromas of molasses, cheap chocolates, mild stewed fruit, and a bit of roasted malt. Sweet vanilla chocolate flavors dominate the palate. It’s very sweet, and the roasted malts provide almost no balance. Slick in the mouth. Even with all of its faults, it grew on me a bit. Still a bit problematic.
