Rather sweet.
Coffee, roasted grain, full mouth feel. Smooth, not very sophisticated.

Sep 18, 2008 Pours moderately thick and black with a thin creamy tan head. Sweet caramel, raisin and molasses aroma with a hint of acrid black malt and cinnamon. Sweet caramel malt flavor with low roast malt presence and a hint of spice. Has a meaty yeast flavor. Low bitterness with little hop flavor. Nice full body. No noticeable alcohol. Kind of interesting but somehow unsatisfying.

does not count  Sep 9, 2008 Beautiful head that clung to the glass all the way. Lots of great flavors- toasty, roasty, coffee, chocolate, licorice and a little acidic tang. One of those beers you can drink all day and enjoy.

Jul 17, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours deep dark brown to black with a minimal redish glare. Dense chocolate brown head. Dense roasted malt aroma - towards a dark breadish note. Flavour is mild spiced, solid roasted malt and a thick breadish flavour underneath. Mild spiced finish with a lingering roasted malt note.

Jun 2, 2008 Found this to be a very solid porter. Roasted malts, caramel, some chocolate. Finish was nice roasted bitterness. Quite a tasty porter.
