Malty and smooth. Sweet. Reminds me of the warm milk at the end of a bowl of cereal. Very sweet, sort of thick. That’s good. Here, not so much. A bit of thin bitterness. Dark color with a tan head.

500 ml bottle. Black color, creamy tan head. Slighly metallic, sweet aroma. Smooth, sweet chocolate flavor with a touch of malts. Medium-light body, medium-light carbonation. Not great.

gedronken op vakantie in de Harz. Dit is een zoete schwarzbier en het proeft een beetje naar een malz of een donker bier.

Bottled (Citymarket, Pori, BB 03/2010). Dark ruby color, small steady creamy beige head, some lace. Rubbery, grainy and coffee toasted aroma. Oversweet flavor. Saccarine, syrup, some dark bread. light grassy hops. Way too artifical sweet to be enjoyable. I wonder if this beer was in the days of DDR like this.

Bottled (from Citymarket, Pori). Black colour, mediumsized brown head, some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, syrup, barnyard and some slight grainy notes. Out of balance. Flavour is caramel malts, syrup and some aspertam or similar artificial sweetner. Mild creamy notes in the finish. Very watery.

500 ml bottle. Finland. Dark reddish brown colour with medium tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt and some berries. The flavour is so incredibly sweet that it’s hard to describe. Far too sweet for me. Like Hermesetas sweeteners. I’m afraid I can’t enjoy this.

light aroma of roast and some sweetness. appearance is total opaque. flavor is overwhelmingly sweet. some root beer flavors, some elements of brown sugar but mostly just a huge sugar note unreleated to to the roast. palate is slick and wet. overall this is intolerably sweet, hard to believe anyone can put down more then a full bottle of this.

Bottled: Molasse and candy aroma. Sugary, sweet flavor, mainly molasse. Some grainy and toasty notes. I don’t like sweet beers like this.
