The aroma is that of a low-alcohol beer (even though this is not) - it is sour hoppy. The color is red and it has a small head. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel. All in all a boring beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Funnily enough, this shouldn’t be called a beer, because it has added sugar and therefore breaks the aged "Reinheitsgebot". But this is of course a Schwarzbier with added sugar which gives it a flavor strongly reminding me of a Danish "hvidtøl". But only not quite as sweet and with a more distinct hoppy bitterness. Almost black beer with a nice light brown head. Quite unusual type for Germany. 261103

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a reddish hus and a lacing head. Sweet and slight roasted aroma. Very sweet sugarish, much like a danish hvidtoel. Ends malty sweet. Nice.

Very black. Big coffee aroma. Very sweet and creamy, like a capuccino with loads of sugar. omhper doesn’t like sugar with his coffee...

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark roasted, a mix of roasted - chocolate - coffee - nutty. Initial flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to light light heavy dark roasted bitter, finish flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and dark roasted bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091010]

Bottle at KØ07. Fruity aroma. Almost black colour, almost no head. The flavour is quite sweet, reminding me of hvidtøl, some brown sugar.

Bottled (from Citymarket, Pori). Black colour, mediumsized brown head, some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, syrup, barnyard and some slight grainy notes. Out of balance. Flavour is caramel malts, syrup and some aspertam or similar artificial sweetner. Mild creamy notes in the finish. Very watery.

Bottled. Clear brown coloured with a beige head. Aroma of malts, butter and smoke with roasted notes. Sweet flavour with notes of smoke and some roasted notes. Too sweet for my liking.
