Aroma is predominantly toasted malts with a faint hint of floral hops. Taste is biscuity and chewy. Slight hop spiciness in the finish. Really not that bitter, but it was still enjoyable. thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 22, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a large sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing and an uncarbonated transparent copper brown colored body. The aroma contained mild malt and hop notes. The mouth feel was mildly tingly and mellowed in the finish with a malt hop bite and a hoppy flavor. argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA Jan 23, 2005 Clear mahogany body topped by foamy beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is mild, earthy, some caramel. Taste is medium sweet, earthy, some caramel, dusky, light anise. Light-medium body, creamy. Aroma was malty, caramel, sweet, and fruity (apples?). Sweet, bitter, malty, and hoppy flavor. Tingly palate.
