| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a large sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing and an uncarbonated transparent copper brown colored body. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 26, 2004 For a beer with the word "bitter" in the name it wasn’t bad at all. A lot darker and more complex than I expected.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 16, 2004 Sample at the brewpub. Fruity, cherry-apple dominated nose; wonderful, huge malty fruitiness throughout, berries and fresh grass and old musty books...big body, thick and juicy...this was actually my favorite of the seven samples I had, and one of the best bitters I’ve ever tasted. Awesome job, Mike!
