Sample at the brewpub. Fruity, cherry-apple dominated nose; wonderful, huge malty fruitiness throughout, berries and fresh grass and old musty books...big body, thick and juicy...this was actually my favorite of the seven samples I had, and one of the best bitters I’ve ever tasted. Awesome job, Mike!

On tap at Rich O’s. Fresh balanced and easy drinking. No alcohol on aroma or flavor. Hop and malt deliciousness medium body. Fantastic.

Very cloudy appearance, practically transluscent bronze. Subtle aroma includes apple, yeast, very earthy malt with lots of caramel, and a hint of pumpkin. The palate is on the fizzy side, yet the creaminess counteracts before the damage is done. A mild bitterness also manages to penetrate. Chewy flavors of raisin and pineapple. The finish shows mostly nuts. A really fine stately made Bitter.

on tap at fiddlers hearth. pours a clear amber with a small white head. this was pretty nice. notes of grapefruit, pine, and citrusy hops against a light caramel background. The hops really shined in this one. this was an awesome session beer. I would drink this again on tap fo sho. tight.

Draft: Cloudy brown with minimal head. Very nice bitterness. Good hop nose - an excellent brew.

On cask at New Albanian Bank Street Brewhouse. Cloudy, dark brown pour, tawny, light brown lasting head with decent lace. Nice soft mouthfeel typical of cask ales. Roasty, coffee notes, and a nicely bitter finish.

Clear mahogany body topped by foamy beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is mild, earthy, some caramel. Taste is medium sweet, earthy, some caramel, dusky, light anise. Light-medium body, creamy. Very drinkable -- 20 ounces went in a flash.

Lovely copper-brown cloudy appearance. Nice rich aroma and a good bitterness that stays with you. First bitter I've ever had and I'm quite liking it
