On tap at Rich O’s Publick House during RBSG Road Trip 2007. Called Old 15-B. Dark black body with a small creamy tan head. Sweet roasted malt and caramel aroma. Sweet roasted malt and chocolate flavor.

Draught at the brewpub. Opaque black with a short, lacing beige head. Sweetish aroma is faint and vaguely herby. Taste is mildly bitter and very dry with licorice and subtle dark chocolate. Body is full and malty. Aftertaste tinged with beginning sweetness but otherwise dry. Subtle, complex session!

I had guessed this to be an Old Ale rather than a Porter, and indeed, it tasted like one. A compliment, I think.

On tap a super dark brown pour with a hint of amber. A dark tan head that layed there forever. Light aroma of chocoffee and a hint of malt. A flavor that is smooth chocolate almost like chocolate milk. A very subtle bitter at first that slides on into a very good finish. A tad thin but with very good carbonation. A hint of sweet then bitter a decent beer but not over the top.

Draft at Sportstime Pizza. Pitch and opaque. Spiraling tan head. Malty cocoa anise toffee aromas. Full bodied with a smooth creamy malt flavor. Initially dry and bitter. Finishes the same. Nice oreo note. Chocolate and vanilla. Good roast. Toasty dry rye bread. Smooth style. Slight dried fruit note. Well done.

Brown/black color with a small diminishing head. Aroma is faint with subtle roasted toned. Watery mouthfeel with very little flavor profile. Could use more malt all the way around.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours dark amber black with some yeast floaties and a tight beige head. The aroma is very roasty with some creamy coffee and caramel notes. The flavor is also roasty with oats, caramel, and toast. Quite a smooth mouthfeel, too. Good brew.
