| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 7, 2006 draught. This stuff is black as night with a light tan head that stays. Thick roasted coffee bean aroma, just a touch of cola in there. The flavor is like that of a rich latte with some dark chocolate notes in the background. It’s all adequately robust in flavor. I have no complaints about this stuff. antzman (313), Clarksville, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2007 Based on a recipe from Bob Capshew. The name comes from the style definition for porter, and is dead on. Pours a medium brown with a thin tan head. Excellent lacing on the glass. The aroma is of malty caramel, chocolate, a little coffee. The flavor is nice and even. Malt, caramel, dark fruits, with a lightly hoppy finish. Very well made beer. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
