This pours with a very clear gold body under a thin white head.
Malt dominates the aroma.
The flavor is slightly bitter with a good support from the malt.
Soft carbonation, easy drinking. Optigon (561), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2007 Draft from Sportstime Pizza. Filtered and bronze golden hued. Clinging white head. Bready and slight hoppy aromas. Creamy silky mouthfeel. Nice and fruity. Grapefruit and citrus. Dry with a slightly more noticable burn. Another solid brew. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 21, 2006 Draft - beautiful reddish IPA with a beige head of creamy bubbles. Grassy hop nose. Firm malt backbone. Hops are there in large numbers, but are somehow muted in the flavor. I guess I’m trying to say that they are not up front and bright like a Two Hearted or Stone IPA. This must be due to the fact that it is billed as an English IPA and not an American IPA. A fine beer, nonetheless.
