Moderate mouth feel with a strong hop bitterness. Caramel and fruit undertones carry the hops in a wonderful way. Great IPA! BBB63 (4274), La Porte, Indiana, USA

Honey hued with a small fizzy head and good lace. The nose has a lot of hops noted, grapefruit, pine, and pepper character in addition to caramel, toffee, and apple. Very nice and inviting aroma. The taste is a smooth and balanced with what seemed to be US Fuggles and Perle. A bit citric and bitter with a bready pale background. A hint of pepper and spice on the finish. The feel is refreshing, lively and crisp. This a solid brew with straight up IPA goodness. YUM! MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 23, 2006 Updated: May 24, 2006Draft at Rich O’s: poured amber with a small white head. Little aroma at first but after a few sips, a bunch of stuff came out. At first, it smelled of pear, then some peach, then overripe bananas which is how it rermained. Earthy, yeasty, hop flavor. Some doughyness. This is billed as an English IPA, not an American IPA. I think it mostly hits the mark but I’d be interested to know if they used some weizen yeast in it due to the banana phenols. Pretty bitter finish. Quite tasty. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

Nose is fruity, peach, summery fruit. Some floral notes. Light, yeasty hop flavor, mildly dry finish. Solid! sneagrams3 (1762), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Bready and slight hoppy aromas. Creamy silky mouthfeel. Nice and fruity. Grapefruit and citrus. Dry with a slightly more noticable burn. Another solid brew. wheninhell (486), louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 30, 2006 Got this one from a half gallon jug, which I think makes it a bit more flat than if it were from the tap. It looks like a pale ale, but the flavor seems more hoppy. I like this one better than most of the pale ales I’ve tried. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

This pours with a very clear gold body under a thin white head.
Malt dominates the aroma.
The flavor is slightly bitter with a good support from the malt.
Soft carbonation, easy drinking.
