barenada (211), Georgetown, Indiana, USA Jan 30, 2005 (draft) First time drinking the non-bourbonized version of this stout. I got an almost overpowering sense of chocolate - both in the aroma and the flavor. Pretty good, but would probably be too much for me to wrap an evening around. I was pleased to detect no coffee or licorice at all. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA Oct 28, 2003 Updated: Nov 24, 2003Draft: Per Michael, the brewer, intended to be used in their Bourbondaddy Stout (aged in Woodford Reserve barrels), but sometimes released on its own. A big roasty stout. A very nice beer in its own right.
