pepsican (765), the beer wastelands of, Iowa, USA Aug 26, 2008 GTMW! Light amber pour. Lots of celery in the aroma. Flavor is more celery, grass, some orange peal. Long bitter finish. drewbeerme (1840), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 17, 2008 on tap at GTMW ’08. pours clear gold with white head. nose mineral, herbal, citrus, grapefruit. not bad. just not hoppy enough! islay (406), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Aug 10, 2008 Small sample, on tap at Great Taste of the Midwest. Consumed on 8-9-2008. Pours a clear gold with slow-rising bubbles and frothy, white head. Piney, salty, briney hops aroma; pickle-like smell. Soft, malty taste with a dull, dry finish. I’m not really digging this hops combo. Medium body. Soft and smooth in the palate. Ryan82SM (26), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Aug 8, 2008 Some definite, but not overwhelming, floral hops and doughy yeast aroma from the start. Golden yellow appearance. The floral hops definitely carry the flavor, as the title suggests. The palate was surprisingly smooth with a hint of citrus at the finish. A pretty good beer, can’t knock it much, just not my style.
