| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 17, 2008 Aggressive hopping and a full bodied, bittersweet, vegetal hop presence. Bitter throughout, once the palate recovers from the huge hop bite, there is a soapy, piney finish as the beer goes down. Looks great in the glass, with a lasting, sticky lacing. ¾ (5006), Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2008 Draft sample pours a hazy orange. Fruity mandarin orange and crystalline sugar nose, and the flavor is also expectionally sweet and sugary/gritty. Candied alcohol and messy unfermented sugars, but the worst thing is the body tends to fall quite thin in the back. Boozy for 9% ABV, and also too sweet, but at the very least it’s all hops and little malt character. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 23, 2008 Great orange color, minimal white head. Great pine, hop resin aroma. Belgin yeasty character to the flavor which is hop dominated. Biter ending. Strykzone (1497), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Honey gold body with a small head of large bubbles. Aroma of tart piney hop. Very tart and absolutely full of hops. Pleasantly non-complex. It is just in your face hop. A hop lover’s paradise. drfabulous (1275), Columbia, Missouri, USA

I’d buy this once a week if it were sold here in Mizzou. Super flora, wonderful aroma, nice hops. Like the other hop clones: Hop Slam, Hop Wallop, this one is great and refreshing.
