Aroma is very hoppy, herbal, floral, with aggressive and sweet hops. Tastes of grapefruit, sweet orange, very little harsh bitterness, thanks to the lack of Chinook. Mouthfeel is full bodied and quite resinous with smooth carbonation. goldtwins (4080), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 28, 2007 Growler thanks to KP. Poured a lightly hazed copper color with a medium sized but quickly diminishing white head. The aroma is citrusy, piney, and a little floral mixed with malt. The flavor starts with a quick ending malt and then goes to a piney and floral hop flavor. The hops go on long with a a mild-moderate bitterness finishing it out. There is a good amount of warmth as well. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

Pours cloudy yellow-orange with a small head. Flavor is subtle citrus hops and sweet malts. Palate is crisp and tart. Tasty, but not the IIPA I was expecting. Smells of citrus, hops, malt, crispness, and oddly foral. Taste is intense, very hoppy (obviously), and slightly bitter. Surprisingly light-bodied. Update: Just had this on hand-pull: Taste is as I remember, alcohol is well disguised. Would’ve been better slightly colder. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 11, 2007 Growler. Light orange body, small, slowly fading whitte head. the aroma explodes with tangerine, followed by light onion notes, squished other citrus, pine and just a hint of toasted grains. Smells nice. The flavor is very fresh and hoppy, moderately bitter, lightly sweet and lightly acidic. Malt is very shy but that just lets the lovely hop notes shine. Finishes lightly bitter and off-dry, some caramel lingering. The palate is extremely creamy, light bodied and easygoing. Tasty. Kinz (2205), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2007 Stl microfest. Pour is a dark orange with a thin white head. Aroma is a super nice pine hop with a bit of citrus in there. Flavor is again a extremely fresh tasting pine hop with a wee bit of dark caramel malts. The hops are what puts this one in the winner catagory. Just like walking through a pine forest. Very good beer.
