New Albanian Oaktimus

sampled from a growler at a harvest homecoming party. big thanks to jesse and josh for this one! pours THICK amber with a small off white head. aroma big piney hops slight citrus and some woody funk. flavor sweet vanilla honey and lots of bitter piney hops. long bittersweet finish. lots of pine and vanilla. full bodied. moderate carbonation. slightly sticky. it was interesting tasting this side by side with hoptimus and seeing just how much the oak aging mellowed this beer. overall a very smooth well balanced beer.
