Bottle from Frugal McDugal in Nashville. Pours a beautiful deep mahogany with a retentive light beige head. Chocolate and yeast nose with accents of citrus. Medium bodied but with a thin texture. Flavor of dark bread with hints of lime. Dry finish with flavor of cocoa powder and some slight acidity. This has lots of Schwarzbier characteristics. Enjoyable

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark reddish/black with a decent off-white head. Some lacing. Aroma is fruity, dark cherries, espresso and chocolate. Flavor is earthy and full of raisins and dark chocolate. Palate is light-medium bodied, fizzy on the front, with a dryish finish. Becomes progressivly smoother as the beer warms. Overall this is a HIGHLY drinkable, tasty ale. One of the better low(er)-ABV beers available.

Bottle thanks to a friend bringing them back to me from Colorado. Pours a black color with a small head. Flavor is caramel, very woody, and malty. Not very hoppy, and not a lot of hop bitterness. Overall this beer is very drinkable and quite tasty!

Pours with a tan head and cola color. Smells of roasted malt. Taste is a little hops on the front with a chocolate bitterness. This is very drinkable and feels medium bodied. I’d drink this again.

Bomber, pours a cola colored body with a fair sized fuzzy tan head. The aroma was more impressive than the flavor, but very good overall. Smells of chocolate, some roastiness, nice malts, slightly fruity. Caramel slightly roast malt flavor with some fruitiness. Med-mouthfeel, fairly lush and smooth.
