Reddish golden with a nice, frothy off-white head. Nice retention. Floral hop nose up front with a moderate amount of pine underneath. Moderate biting hop flavor, resiny bitterness builds nicely throughout the flavor profile. Finish is only lightly bitter, lightly sweet with caramel maltiness. Really well done. Poop hops and poop otherwise, but not the most offensive poop I’ve ever had. Fat Tire minus some poop. cprochak (419), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jan 27, 2009 greatness. i look forward to this beer every year. tastes nothing like it smells (amber) or looks (amber). everything about this beer’s initial impression screams FAT TIRE PART 2. not the case. 2 BELOW is far sweeter, much deeper, completely complexier than at first glance. fine lacing on the glass proves that the flavor refuses to surrender. lots of chocolate with a slight hop bitterness to tickle the sides of the tongue washes out with sweetly smooth mouthfeel, lingering around the backhalls of the jawline like the fingers of the beer along the glass edge. this beer is hard to take in moderation. arrogantb (712), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Nice orange-red color with a foamy, thick white head. Smells alright, hmm. Tastes liek a little hops then some maltiness, good and seems hoppy for an ESB which is just fine with me. Overall quite easy to drink and a nice beer to drink while shooting a game of pool which is exactly what I did.

Aroma hoppy floral and light citrus. Backed by pale and caramel maltiness.
Flavour has a good dose of that almost floral holiness again. Gods medium malt body, with a nutty spiceness.
