| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Found this one bottled in St. Charles, Illinois. Amber pour with a thin, tannish head, with a nice rosey hoppy nose. Amazing hoppiness, not too bitter, sweet pineyness balanced with a deliciously complex spiceyness. A strong finish. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Pours mostly head. Its a watery brown color, slightly amber. The aroma is complex with graines and woodtones. The flavor is good, sweet, slightly bitter and very malty. But its a good kind of malty, not burnt. The after taste is even more bitter, and unfortunately has a nutty flavor to it. Pailhead (2593), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Bottle: Nutty, roasty, and piney aroma. It pours a transparent amber with a moderate soapy off-white/yellow-tinted head that leaves behind great lacing. The flavor starts with sweet caramel with some faint piney hops in the background. The finish is lightly roasty and nutty. Light-medium bodied with soft carbonation. BigMilly8 (376), Holiday, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2007 From bottle coutesy valpoaj : Pours a hazy dark amber color with a half finger of white fizzy, quick dying head. A very piney, dry hops nose, with a little bit of sweetness. Flavor is quite good, tastes alot more like a ipa then a bitter, semi-sweet taste with hops, a little bitter bite toward the end. Palate is medium bodied, but leaning to the thinner side of medium, leaves a aftertaste with some alcohol. Not to bad. robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear copper with thin white head. Aroma is malty sweet with a fair amount of hop spice involved. Flavor comes in well balanced with quite a bit of sweet roasted malt flavors balanced by an equally fat share of bitter and lightly peppery hoppiness. Finish is much of hte same with a hint of herbal hoppiness and being long in duration. I’m pleased with this one and it tastes great with some leftover cheese I had laying in the fridge. Pretty easy drinking and if I had another I’d drink it straight away. beerbrat99 (119), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 28, 2007 Nice orange brilliant color. Light malt presence in aroma and flavor. I detect very little hop character even though this is apparently dry-hopped. A very easy drinking beer but this is a dull, boring winter beer.
