Commercial Description:
Biere De Mars is New Belgium’s exploration of the classic French and Belgian brews celebrating the half-winter, half-spring month of March. Our bottle-conditioned version, however, goes where no BIERE DE MARS has gone before. After gazing at its cloudy, yet glowing orange hue, prepare yourself for a celestial collaboration of oats, wheat, barley malt and lemon verbena, all of which is set into orbit by unidentified flying yeast strains.

Out of a bottle. Aroma of citrus, wheat and yeast. Poured a hazy orangeglo to peach color with nice head. Flavor was good, orange tinge on the wheat definite yeast notes. Palate was medium bodied and finished well.

This was a good beer. Pours a cloudy golden broth, then settles to a beutiful orange tint. Good Lacing qualities. An almost honey like scent that goes well with the sweet-bitterness. This is also a good cooking beer, oddly enough..

hmm, an interesting aroma of orange and pepper which makes it somewhat confusing (?) to smell. but it’s very wheaty and spicy, with more lemon than orange in the flavor. a very light and enjoyable saison, but nothing outstanding about it.

Tasted at brewery and purchased on several occasions. VERY interesting cloudy orange color. I like the malty, citrusy flavor and the smooth, creamy mouthfeel. One of NBB’s more consistent beers.

Bottle. Cloudy light to medium orange color. Huge bubblegum aroma. More bubblegummy flavors, although more fruity than the aroma, with yeast notes coming through. Slightly overcarbonated and lively.

Poured a hazy yellow gold. Aroma of bubble gum, yeasty, touch of funk. Flavor was mildly tart and fruity with a hop bitterness on the finish. Lively on the tongue.

Cloudy orange body. Huge bubblegummy aroma. It’s like liquid Dubble Bubble. Interesting. A bit of soft fruitiness around the edges.
