Commercial Description:
Biere De Mars is New Belgium’s exploration of the classic French and Belgian brews celebrating the half-winter, half-spring month of March. Our bottle-conditioned version, however, goes where no BIERE DE MARS has gone before. After gazing at its cloudy, yet glowing orange hue, prepare yourself for a celestial collaboration of oats, wheat, barley malt and lemon verbena, all of which is set into orbit by unidentified flying yeast strains.

Cloudy golden color, fruity nose and taste of light citrus. Pleasant and easy drinkin'. Finish is somewhat drying.

Orange moon looming with promise. Okay, enough with the pottery. Rather nice, pleasantly subtle yeasty, fruity, soft and easily drinkable.

I look forward to theis beer every year since it came out. Its got a nice sweet fruit fully spiced nose. Pours a golden orange color witha quickly disapating head. Mellow, yet spicy, extremely pleasant.

Sweet fruity (apricot) aroma. Fast diminishing head on a hazy, orange body. Spicy but soft flavor, not very aggressive. Better the second time around.

Orange bodied, spicey and full of citrus fruits in the nose. Body is full of soft carbonation, but nice flavors - sweet malts, coriander - dry finish with lots of citrus around the edges. Good saison.

Rerate 06.07.06 Lightly hazed copper. Attractive brett nose. Moderate bitterness, including a distinct herbal bitterness. Attractive brett character, both in terms of dryness and a nice soft horseblankety finish.

Hazy orange in color, head quickly dissipated. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, with flavors of orange, lemon, and maybe peaches. Tangy and bubbly mouth feel. Dry finish, Thanks, Tad.

The Biere de Mars poured a cloudy yellow-orange with lots of tiny floating sediment. It had a fizzy, white head that quickly went to a thin layer. It has an earthy, fruity aroma of lemon and maybe coriander with some very slight hops. Its taste was sweet malt up front, with quite a bit of lemony citrus, some floral hints, and then a crisp finish. Overall, a nice refreshing, lighter beer.
