Aromas of lemons and herbs waft from my glass. There are also some thin malty notes in the nose. The taste is lightly sweet up front, and is quite crisp and clean. Some subtle notes of herbal lemon character are present. Nice, crisp, and refreshing, with perhaps a hint of acidity in the finish. Basically a good hot weather beer.
My biggest complaint is that this beer is being released in the wrong season. It should be a late spring/ summer beer. For this to really work, for me, the alcohol should be boosted up to about 8%. Gromit (461), Port Orchard, Washington, USA

The pour reminds me of Tang, only not quite as bright. Lots of suspended yeast. Not a whole lot or a head or lacing, though, but that's typical for the style.
Scent is light malt with a bit of citrus.
Taste is also light. Some citrus hints with some spices hide behind a delicate and crisp malt. I find this cleaner than most Saisons.
Mouthfeel is a bit watery but not too much so, though it could use a bit more carbonation. Overall this is pretty good and a find complement to the rest of NB's offerings, if only they'd get rid of Flat Tire and a few others. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 23, 2004 Like the way this one poured, it was a 1/4 inch head with a cloudy orangish color. Smell was citrusy. Drank it down with no real outstanding features or dislikes. Would recommend this one for a nice spring day. Braudog (3752), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 20, 2004 Hazy orange-yellow with a decent head (if poured down the middle of the glass). There's honey on the nose. Decent yeast-weighted flavor with a wheaty character, smooth but not overbearing. Not as full-charactered as a good Belgian wheat, but not a bad interpretation for the US market. Sickboy282 (1098), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 18, 2004 Overall a little dissapointing. Pours a hazy orange/amber in color, with no head. Flavors of honey, and light citrus notes. The good note is that it goes down easy so I can try something else. snowtiger (106), Brighton, Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 18, 2004 I am disappointed in Biere de Mars this year. The aroma is not as pungent as last year, there is no head, the color is not as deep, the beer is cloudy, and its missing the Belgian "funkiness" (tart, house blanket, musty, etc) that made this beer so unique last year. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 18, 2004 Hoppy nose, light golden/orange color, fluffy head, mildly hoppy flavor with hints of citrus and maybe even a little love.
