| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 14, 2009 Lips of Faith. An unclear orange beer with a 1 finger head. Aroma was musty, & funk. The taste was lemony, & like drinking dirty stinky laundry but in smooth sort of way that does get cloying. I’m assuming that funk taste is the Brett. hapjydeuce (771), Del Mar, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 14, 2009 Bottle from BevMo. Pours a brilliant clear copper color with an initial 1cm foamy white head that fades to light lacing. Aroma is light orange peel, cinnamon spice with a bit of nutmeg, and toasted malt. The fizzy carbonation releases a few hints of tangy brettanomyces yeasties. Flavor is simple; toasted malt toffee, more orange peel, and a bit of sweet lemon. Finish is simple, with minimal sourness from the wild yeasts. Typical Bier de Garde brew. Skyview (4019), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Pours a semi-hazy orange amber colored brew with a thick off-white head that has some nice retention. Aroma of golden grain malt, some yeast, lemon and a hint of barn yard funk. Taste is medium bodied, some light carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some yeast, lemon zest and a touch of fruit. Finish is semi-sweet with some candi sugar, and yeast aftertaste. kmweaver (2440), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2009 22oz bottle at Morandi’s Record Street Brewing Company. Pours a highly effervescent, bright orange color; fluffy off-white head with good retention and mixed-bubbled lacing. The spicing in this makes it come off as something like a pumpkin beer: nutmeg, light cinnamon, slightly stale; bland; more spice than dry and biscuity character. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of dense, chewy spicing, orange candy (light sweetness), and earthy / citrus bitterness; ultimately sweet and chewy; very light metallic note muddling things. Chewy, spiced biere de garde. Lengthy finish: candy sugar, oranges, and light pumpkin-like spicing. topherh (899), Kearney, Missouri, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 8, 2009 22oz LOF. Cloudy golden orange color with a small head. Aroma is light, has some spice and wheat with a little faint hops. Flavor is smooth and sweet with a little spice and grain. Gypsy19 (619), California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Pours a clear dark orange with a medium fluffy white head. Aroma has a little bit of spice and clove, maybe a little bit of cream, that’s about it. Flavor is pretty dull also, there’s just a little bit of light fruit and spice; there’s a lot of room for more flavor... Velvety mouthfeel. Overall, good minus.
